Can anyone tell me what connects these?

CHOOSE ME
ALL IN THE FAMILY
CHECKMATE

They are a pop song, an American sitcom and the end of chess respectively, though that might only mislead. It comes from a pub quiz last week. Unfortunately the pub had not been given the answers and none of the contestants could come up with anything. I hope to find out the answer tomorrow but I thought I would put it out here. There was a fourth item which was something on the face, possibly FROWN, but the contestants could not agree on that.

These are all book titles...……although I don't know if that is the correct answer…..
