I did think of those answers but as the parsing was not obvious I dismissed them. With your nudge I've looked again and now see how they work (or perhaps how they could be contrived to fit to the clues).

Glad those worked, DavidW. I managed to parse Employ, after a fashion, but wasn't convinced I could set it out properly!
