A nice one from Doc, a couple of nicknames (is there a better word for this?) that I’d never heard before. I’ve been known to be a little critical of him so I’m saying something nice today!

I found it full of cheeriness!

But is not 35 faulty as per Mop's concurrent thread re RT44?

For anyone who hasn't seen it,

Trifle endlessly - in a way (5)

Hi Farr and kt17,
Flirt, trifl(e)*. This is an &lit clue: the definition and wordplay is provided by the clue in entirety.

There are also part &lit clues similar to above but usually require additional word(s) to provide the definition.

Hi again farr, you need the Latin for but, sed, which should get you there.

Teenieleek, I'm afraid I thought the opposite - I found today's Doc puzzle quite disappointing!
