I wasn't on the right wavelength today. I struggled through my ignorance of Scottish pop groups and with things like 20a being the wrong gender. My last two are:

Footballer's acceleration during 16 (4)

[16 may be 'run-up']

Group of Scots, perhaps with back up guitar (5)
