Thanks Ruby - now just stuck on 19A: "Ladies given latitude to opine online" (4). I have -l-g

and 30A. "Perhaps quark's revolutionary energy covering casing of elections" (6). I have -H-E-E and cheese fits but I can't get that from the given clue.

Any tips appreciated.

"Ladies" can be a toilet.
Have you checked the meanings of "quark" ?
