Twin buttons = O and O
Mg = small volume (milligram)
Small volume expanded by twin buttons - put the OO inside the Mg.
Moog, synthesiser.

Raised in a form of football = reversal (down clue) of IN A + RU (rugby union).
Then A at the end of the word (academy originally).

21, Urania is the Muse of Astronomy.
"RU "is abb for rugby union football, reversed, "in a" is reversed, and first letter/originally of "a"cademy.

Mg is a measure of weight not volume.
Not happy with this clue, or several others which seem contorted.

Thanks for the clarification, Hollisga. I knew I'd seen 'mg' on labels, but that's all!
