1A) Cantab's current second team takes on Oxon's first - who's the winner? (3,4) C??,?O?O
12A) Class of fish in one's pond for a change (6). I can only come up with "Dipnoi" but I think that is wrong.
12D) Prolific Greek scholar undertook first year calculation in reverse (7).
At first I thought it was "Erasmus" but if "Dipnoi" is correct, then Erasmus is incorrect.
15A) Time for Christmas drink and children presenting poem (9) ??????I?H
19D) Poetry in audition is outstanding (3) O??
20A) Meteorologist's guide to damage done after onset of storm (5) S????

As always, please could you explain how you arrived/parsed the answer as I am still a novice when it comes to cryptic clues. Thanks in advance. Time for peanuts and a glass of wine now. My head hurts.

Thanks Rusty. So that makes the last letter of 20A "E".

20, is "sonde", a balloon or probe sent into the atmosphere.
Onset of "s"torm is "s", "damage" is the anagram indicator to get "onde" from "done".

1 Cui Bono - Latin phrase meaning 'who benefits?', so 'who's the winner'. I haven't parsed the rest, was just proud to spot that!

Laugh out loud Rusty. I looked up soden, sedon, snode senod and snedo but I forgot to look up "sonde"!

Yes Malone, "Decastich" fits the bill. Many thanks but I'm fed up proving that I'm not a robot on this site. They keep asking me every few minutes or otherwise I can't reply to you. The last time I looked in the mirror, I wasn't a robot and I've just checked again and I'm STILL not a robot.

I would never have found that in my basic robot dictionary Malone. Thanks again. Nanoo, nanoo from R2D2 or whatever his name was.
