I'm having a hard time in the bottom right-hand corner, would someone like to help?

20D Rang up policy section about dispute. (6) ?p????

20. Oppugn, charge (definition). Reversed in the clue.

19. Physio, treatment. Phys sounds like Fizz, face(?) and Io is the heart, middle letters, of Lion.

I had guessed physio although I didn't get "fizz" for face.
This seems to be an abbreviation of "fizzog" which is a slang term which, according to wiktionary.org, derives from physiognomy; so we are going round in circles a bit.

TreborNotlaw, it was probably my fault about 'fizz'/ face - it should have been Phiz, face! I did question my own Fizz, face - I couldn't check it then, but I've done it now. Like you I find it slightly circular - phiz sounds like phys...but the phiz actually comes from physiognomy.

I think you may have been right first time with fizz. I remember a Not the Nine o'clock News sketch in which Rowan Atkinson played a vicar complaining that people only turned up to Songs of Praise to "get their fizzogs on the goggle-box".

Trebor, I have to be Chips if I'm replying from my phone - when I'm out and about - as it logs in automatically and I have no idea what my password is! That was set up many years ago and I'd be scared to try to change things in case I lose all access.

I looked up 'Fizz' in Chambers and there was no link to 'face'. - but Phiz, face, is there.
