1ac I can't get the first 5 letter word in this answer which is p???d of the realm. The clue is English monarch gentle here, surrounded by prize people in top seats. If 2dn is correct,(I have down as the answer for that, the clue being Finished second, then first), then the d is right, but Ican't think of any thing that fits. All contributions gratefully received!
