10a 6 letter word for a person needing /short of something...then the answer sounds like this and is a coat (not the coat you would wear)

5d your 1st F is wrong ... should be a G (grand) then OLD ....

Thanks for your responses - very helpful. All done now! I mistakenly put an F at the beginning of 5D when I actually had a G.
