I've seen this as Toolbar, 7 letters - but you have 1-7?

This is a spiral and the squares 1 to 7 are 7 letters
squares 4 to 1 (the opposite direction) answer is loot
(treasure)

and squares 8 to 4 - grab (seize)

oops 8 to 5

Thanks, Jazzgirl. I've never seen the puzzle, so didn't realise '1-7' meant the answer could be between 1 and 7 letters long.

It makes me dizzy doing the spiral, Malone

Jazzgirl, I've never been good at going backwards, so I'd probably not do very well!

My driving instructor commented that I drove better backwards than forwards

Thank you to everyone who has replied to my post re Tool Bar. Please k own I am doing this crossword “blind”. My cousin phoned me for help. It’s very hard not seeing the actual puzzle and letters already filled in. I understand now about the (1-7). You are all very helpful. I used to be in distance education now I’m doing distance crossword puzzles. Thanks everyone!
