I wonder whether this is a musical term but I cannot find a match in a glossary.

Synchronise?

"Synchronise" was my first thought but, as you can see, it does not fit my letters. I have corrected 6D (Decorative embroidery loop) from POINT to PICOT. With the last letter of 13A changing from I to C, the answer is SYNERGISTIC.

Thanks, Michael. I've always liked the word 'synergy', but I didn't think of it in relation to your clue!

PS I'm better at - and happier with - cryptic puzzles.
