I enjoyed this puzzle, though I suspect it was too easy for most solvers.

I am probably mistaken but I think there are 2 possible 3-letters answers to be highlighted. I have sent off the answer with the best symmetry.

Yes it was fun JJ although the instruction spelled out by the extra letters was a little redundant.

I thought the highlighted 3 letter word was the final character, parallel to and a wee bit above the erased word.

What was the other candidate that you saw?

Thanks, you are right. I saw it years ago and thought there were only 4 characters. So when I got those, I thought "the only other person there" must be the creator. Part of his name is in the top row. I liked the symmetry so sent it off.

I checked later and saw there was a 5th character, pity there is no symmetry though.

Yes I enjoyed it too. My favourite compilers are Chalicea and Gaston and I can usually solve their EVs. I think the pre-amble is accurate, which makes a change after recent ones. I did as kt17.

I have never seen it and looking at clips, it seems pretty dreary.
