I was at the tennis on Sunday. It was great to watch. I felt that if it got to a final set tiebreak it would favour Djokovic. He won all of his sets on tiebreaks.
I think it’s a good thing overall though. Last year’s boreathon semi was really bad for the event, players and spectators.

Re cricket, I followed the scores on my phone during change of ends. I didn’t get caught up in the anxiety, tension and excitement, so.

Did England actually know that boundaries scored would be the deciding factor in determining the winner, or did Buttler assume they’d won when the NZer was run out?

Cloverjo,

England knew NZ needed to score more runs in the super over to win.
A tie would mean an England win - I think everyone knew if NZ didn`t score more than one off the last ball they would lose.

I`m pleased for Jofra Archer for having the guts to bowl the over - if we`d lost it could have affected him badly!

My hubby, who'd been following the cricket all day, thought England won because the NZer was bowled out!
