Thanks zozo. It looks so bleedin obvious when you know the answer.

Can anyone help with the definition in this clue.....

12d Shot scene with a plot that twists (10) OPALESCENT

It's an anagram of "Scene + A + Plot", but if the anagram indicator is "shot" then the definition must be "twist" and if it's "twist" then the definition must be "shot", neither of which I can make much sense out of.

"Opalescent" can mean "shot" with colours, Brendan.
