Hi Maurie, I think it's LICORICE

Sound of alcohol = LICOR (Liquor) + ICE

Those 'homophone' type clues can often be the cause for heated debate, given the variety of accents, but this one seems pretty uncontentious.

Same here Rossim but i think the use of "with" in the clue is separating the 'ice' from the homophone aspect of the clue.
