3d "As scenario briefly unfolding" (7)

A?S?N?? depending on answer to 13a looks like either ARSENIC or ARSENAL, but whichever still can't see the parsing

13a: I'm not very good at hints.....
The definition is "sweet thing"

3d: anagram of "scenari "
"As" in clue is the chemical symbol

3d - the first word of the clue is the definition, so you're right with one of your answers

13a the first two words of the clue are the definition - first word of the answer describes what the sweet thing is made up of

13a It took me awhile to parse this one!
The measure of land is reversed in the middle of the water + the last letter of harmony.

I don't like this type of clue when the surface reading doesn't make any sense.
