Anybody else having difficulty in this region?

16D U.S. state (42,224 sq miles, population 7 million), sometimes called the Big Bend state (9)- I have TENNESSEE

19D A discourse on a theme (7) - I have DISSERT

Together those give 26A O-S-E but the second-largest lake in Europe is ONEGA (or ONEGO).

Where have I gone wrong?

Thank you, folks; however that still leaves O-S-A for the Russian lake, unless the Big Bend state is spelt TENNESEEE. I agree, the water body should be ONEGA.

Could there possibly be a mistook in the crossword?
