25A undefined (8)

This is not a clue, but a relatively common occurrence with this crossword with, on occasion, more than one clue being printed as "undefined" followed by a letter count.

I presume Qix creates the completed grid then lists the clue numbers and their letter counts, with all being "undefined" until a suitable clue can be inserted, and sometimes fails to notice that one (or more) is missing.

Reminds me of a story about someone who changes the clue to fit his answer, when he is 'stuck'

Don't ask me why it reminds me of that . . but it does
