Good spot Raghu. I'd always thought that a Nina had to appear in "unches" but, given that I can't even find the word in a dictionary, I'm guessing not.

It should have been 8D and 9D.

Someone pointed out the embedded Nina in last week's Everyman (3784) which had the four compass points.

I was surpised to spot it in today's Everyman and it helped me solve 9D.

Will be looking out for more of these in the future; perhaps the signature of the new setter?
