3d - it’s a paddling piscivore, but I can’t parse the ‘No place for’ part.

1d - just to check, this is ‘peppers’? I’m sure it is, but Chambers only seems to have it as a singular.

3d. Plouter = plotter -pl(ace)

I have the word in plural for 1d.
