Hi, ChrisE. This will be a long post, so someone is bound to cross. My takes are:

4 "pelican" - an old piece of ordnance or its shot
8 "pop"- go, attempt, shot
10 buckshot, snapshot. "needle" - injection, shot
11 double defn.?
12 see 10
19 "worn out" - shot. " pain in the butt" - injection, shot
26 Putting the shot - field event. "In the can" - filmed, shot
33 triple defn.?
34 "jumper" - a jump shot in basketball
37 All I can see is one(s) t(h)r(o)a(t).

I don't get the "money" in Geevo's @20. Any help welcome.
