Hi been following the thread hoping against hope that someone would like help with 13a salmon gutted full of anger Delilah bassa

Bassa2010, the definition is 'Delilah. Salmon gutted = a common crossword device to get a couple of letters. Those are then 'full of anger', a common word.

No problem Malone. It wouldn't be the first time I'd blurted out an answer when only hints were wanted. It usually happens when I'm trying to do two things at once (I'm also restringing my telecaster) and, as I'm sure I've said before, multitasking isn't one of my strong suits :-)

Thanks, Brendan - I was too busy (watching the Boat Race) to look it up. Maybe because of all the water I was seeing, I thought a telecaster might be a fancy fishing rod!
