Somewhat confused over 8d. Is the fourth letter D or could it be S. So yes this does for the answer-irregular masonry does. Any ideas appreciated.

It's an anagram after 'So yes' is removed from 'masonry does'.

18a is an anagram
22a is hidden in the clue
