Hello to all.
We have finished this very topical challenge, but can't see the wordplay for 15 Across.
The first two words seem to be the definition, but as for the rest?
Can someone please give us a slight hint?

A word for "tip" with two letters missing should sort the parsing

I have a full grid, but I still cannot see the parsing in 15a and I cannot find a synonym for perfect in the completed grid. Any help would be much appreciated.

15a - Most of your answer plus 'in' ('belonging to') would give another word for 'tip' (then plus E for the entry).

Finished this, satisfactorily, I thought, but now see that I lack nos amis d'outremanche. The two in 15 across are otherwise occupied and I have no others. Is this intentional, part of some joke I haven't tumbled to?
