March puzzle from the crossword centre. Although I have finished the grid with a high degree of confidence, I'm stumped when it comes to the perimeter names. Could any kind soul offer me a hint? Many thanks in advance!

There are so many possible names in the perimeter, and you're unlikely to know the more obscure ones (especially if you're quite young) but FLYNN and GREENE are two the more obvious ones.
The puzzle's title helps.

...I'm surprised you've managed to get the central 3x3 square without getting the theme - it's an anagram.

Thank you both. I should have had the wit to post the link to the puzzle. In fact I haven't yet got the central square, drxx, but had suspected the theme along the lines you hint at. So I'll go back to it. Thanks again.
