For alanaw, jonty & clueless. I confirm that I was completely wrong in suspecting an error with the first newsreader clue. The answer in today's Herald is Richard Bacon. However, the only reference I can find is about the slightly erroneous former Blue Peter presenter.

There is an apology stating that the answer should have been Baker and as a result the prize is carried forward.
