Wondering about these two:-
7 Down - "Brave tenor on radio, one unsettled by wind".
I Guess the answer is WEATHER VANE but can' t see where "tenor"
comes into the reckoning.
16 Across - "Dull second mate with primitive instincts". (6) S-U-I-

Weather (it out) means to brave.
Vane (sounds like vein) tenor

Stupid

S(econd) + tup (mate) + I'd ( primitive instincts)

Thanks, Shooty - I was thinking that it had to be "stupid" so let's go for that; and as far as the other one, I got "vain" in my head instead of "vein". Thanks for your assistance.
