the clue is - Hazy, the writer's spinning pen - I think the answer is - Misty- I can see sty for pen but where does the mi or perhaps im when "spun" come from

The writer is referring to himself/herself so 'The writer's' (or The writer is) + I'm (or I am) spinning/reversed.

I hope that makes sense!
