I don't like to criticise the brilliant Mattrom's clueing but I can't see a
definition in her @18.
I had 'ruby, emerald and diamond' written down myself but ended up abandoning it.

I took "Primary" as the definition - RED is a "primary colour".

Fiery s 11 May refer to a red letter final demand ?
