Crossword completed but, as usual, one I can't parse: 7d Bigots: "It's about terrorist organisation being embraced by assholes"

Have R - C - S - S , so answer must be RACISTS. Please tell me why!

Just a guess...

IS = terrorist organisation
Rats = A...holes
C = About (circa, Latin abbreviation, used a lot)

Ra c is ts.
