Having real trouble with this one. Grateful for any help.
Clue is :- Water Plant (5,4)
I have
M - R - S / - A - L

The nearest I get is 'Mares Tail', but this isn't a water plant as such.

Chambers says Mares Tail is a 'tall marsh plant', so that could fit the 'water' part, I think.
