The 12 solutions referred to in the preamble seem to allude to events for each month of the year e.g. gunpowder plot for November. I have identified clues whose solution is a special day for each month except for February. Trawled my answers a few times. Anyone put me out of my misery?!

Silly me would have had it finished too if I'd had the confidence to use the answers I thought of instead of asking for confirmation. Ah well, such is life.

In reply to flummoxed, I wondered about kisser ,( Valentine's Day), then found that primroses flower from early February.
These suggestions don't convince me!
