you guys are amazing - I picked up this local quiz very late - only a week to solve 110 clues. If you could help some more.....

1. Crazy (5,3,6)
2. Active Queen (5,5)
3. It's exceptionally good in America (11)
4. Bizarre ethnic groups (5,5)
5. A sailor who reportedly took a doll to a talent contest (6)
6. The repose on iron (3,9,4)

I need to submit the answers tomorrow & I've solved all the others.........more help would be much appreciated

apologies Mamya I was applying your "active queen" clue to the "side of a lettuce" clue. Flying without radar now - answers must be submitted tomorrow - Friday. So frustrating - only need 4 answers & no more time left.
