Again, not a cumulative decision. Matthew seems to have been head and shoulders best throughout, but is eliminated because of one not entirley great dish!
I thought that Dean (despite some great looking cooking) was the weakest link, because of his lack of service experience.

btw, although Mme Pic came over as very nice, I'm not sure I liked the way large photos of her were all over the restaurant!

I agree. Matthew has been brilliant. Dean had a poorish dish yesterday but stayed in as nobody was eliminated. I think L might win it

I couldn't watch last night because was at a recital where my younger son was playing. When I got back, no internet!
I van hardly believe it about Matthew. I thought he was going to win. probably Laurence now.
Not sure I can face watching last night's episode. I agree, I thought Dean the weakest link before.
Ah , well. Matthew will be fine. he was brilliant.

We were right jigjag. I really wanted to eat that pork, even though I rarely eat roast meat these days. Nothing to do with vegetarianism! Marcus has mellowed so much , it's almost unbelievable

Very close call - I wouldn't have argued against any of them (though I still think that Matthew had more about him). I agree about Marcus - he seems almost nice! (and his criticisms are always constructive)

I wouldn't have argued, either, and wouldn't have liked to have to choose a winner. I agree about Matthew.
All over for another year.
I think they were eviscerating live lobsters on the Chef's table episode. That is disgusting.

Really enjoyed the final. Yes pity we cant taste the food. I suppose they judged it just on the 3 courses. Duck slightly overcooked ( a matter of taste), one dish they did not like the presentation, though I did. So nothing in it really. 4 brilliant chefs.
