41A 5 letters in answer. Clues are "Pass off breakdown as slight mistake. My answer fits with "mistake" and agrees with another's solution but I cannot fit in all the clues.

Anyone try RT Xmas yet? Any help is appreciated

A "pass" is a "col"
Remove "col" from "collapse"

Thanks, rusty. Clearly what I had missed was the separate meaning of the words Pass and off. It was Pass taken away as in off and not a single phrase "Pass off" as I had assumed it to be
