Cloverjo, glad I helped. I had the same letters as you and saw what the answer could be - then had to work backwards to arrive at it!

Spent some time fruitlessly looking for Richard (3), he of the winter of discontent and the glorious summer. I liked my interpretation but hey ho, wrong again. Then I spotted the “happy” family, all done now. Genius next.
