I’m thinking it s swap but can’t justify it please help

Sorry, we can't comment unless we have the clue.

Not everyone has the crossword. The clue should be shown.
I have checked online and the clue refers to "handles" (verb)
"paws" so the reverse (revolutionary) is swap - to exchange

If you put the crossword name and number in the thread title, and the clue in the message box, this will help others.

Apologies I thought I was following the thread for that crossword

Those of us without the paper would still need the clue.
