I believe the answer to 2d is Eyecandy
Entrance on horse? It's a pleasure to see (8)E ? E ? E C A N ? Y
Please could someone parse this for me

I think - and I could be wrong! - that Eye = entrance and Horse = candy as in cocaine, heroin, any hard drugs. Eye Candy, a pleasure to see.
