Last one of this quiz. Could anyone give a clue for Q.44, please.

Thought it was an anagram but getting nowhere. No one else seems stuck on this one.

Try hyphenated word. Very close to send-off puzzle time.

The clue gave the word length and there are very few words in the clue - so I thought the anagram would be very gettable!

Yes it was, Malone. Thanks for confirming it was an anagram. Soon got it after that. Was, foolishly, just using that word as the anagram indicator and not trying it!
Been doing this great quiz for about 30 years now and should be in Neville's mind by now.
