Here are two ckuess that I've been trying to solve

12a Balls wedged in gorge - relax! (6)

I thought the answer might be "Loosen", with balls referring to the to o's and wedged meaning you put them in the middle of the word, and loosen up refers to relax. I'm not sure where gorge fits in, are the letters lsen a reference to an abbreviation of valley or something?

Also this one

14d Joke's on men cutting tips from reproductive act tackle (9)

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks, should have known that it might be referencing a political figure. Do you have any ideas about 14d, first I thought cutting tips meant remove the ends from the word reproductive, but that gives too many letters for an anagram.
