Thanks for the tip rusty, but none of the poets I know give me any clue ideas at all. I must be missing something obvious since as far as I can see there has been no other question about this clue on the site. Can you inch me a little closer?

That's who I thought it was elle, being the only 9 letter first name I could think of, but I couldn't see the connection with laundry.
