21d. Novel opinion about king's flavoured drink (7) S?E?B?T. It can only be 'sherbet' but am unable to see why. Except that a sherbet is 'flavoured'. Or are any of the other letters wrong?

Doradoodle, Chambers says sherbet can be 'a fruit-juice drink', so it seems fine.
