Help appreciated in parsing some we think we have answers for.
50a “Retired agent ringing about a church minister “
Answer Preacher - can see ACH = a church , but struggling with retired agent?
57a “ Glib talk by northern model”
Answer Pattern = model. Can see Pat = glib and n for northern?
But why “talk”?

50ac is REP (=agent) reversed round RE A CH.

In 57ac, glib talk is PATTER + N.

50, An agent is a "rep".
about is "re"
A church is "a ch"
