Good Afternoon

Like Rinsp earlier, I'm beginning to doubt my sanity, especially with regard to :
49D - Black, like house poet (5)
I have, possibly wrongly, B?S?O Never heard of a poet called BASHO, though.
Any better suggestions?

I'm also stuck on 3 others, annoyingly interlinked with each other. Help with this may get me the other 2 :
18A - Footballers, say, introducing new underpants (8)
?N?????S

Thanks in advance.
