Rossim, it's fine really - I just felt the 'supposed to' is a bit of a stretch, as this site has very few rules, and I don't think any of them come from the solvers! I'm quite happy to try to remember that the Guardian threads usually involve just clues, but I won't be abjectly apologetic if I forget. I don't often look at Guardian clues, so you're probably relatively safe!

I'm sorry about the way I worded it.
I think 'it's conventional' not to give answers for the prize crosswords whether it's the Guardian or not. This also applies to the quizzes with money prizes.
However, don't lose any sleep over it. I won't!

Rossim, I agree entirely with 'conventional', hence my post 34. I don't think that necessitated the 'advice' that followed.
