I have to know why!

Not having used basilicon ointment or seen Shakespearean bellows-menders in action I can forgive my lack of knowledge in those areas, though I had guessed "Flute" for the latter.

But I cannot follow the thinking behind 13 Down - "Wee flame" (10) and the answer is "Sweetheart". Obviously "flame" is a beloved one, but why the Scots diminutive?

There are more pressing issues to worry about but this bugs me!

I can follow the logic behind that now and I'm glad I asked but I hope this compiler doesn't do too many more!

Thanks.
