I've started this late. Stuck now, so any help with these would be nice.
I'm surprised about Italian city (7) I have ??I??NI
Like many language graduates (7) DI??O??
At home in a country (8) A?T??INE
I have stared at these three for a while....maybe I have wrong letters!

1. An unusual word (at least to me) Def: I'm surprised, wordplay: abbreviation for about + Italian City
2. Synonyms for like + many
3. At, periodic table.

I'm surprised ... I vaguely recall this from younger days, as one of the many words used to avoid what might be regarded as blasphemy. Would have expected the last letter to have been 'y' not 'i', but pronunciation is the same. Also back then, an expression instead of JC was used more so than this one. He said, enigmatically ...

I have all three now.
Never heard that word but makes sense. We used to say crivens and crikey is of the same school.
