My point. earlier, Charlie, was that you had not identified which clue's answer you were seeking (not even a clue number).
You'd have more chance of getting help if you wrote out the problem clue in your request and gave any letters or spaces which you already have.

Hi Twm - I struggled with this one too. It was only when I went to the website that I realised that the clue is in the heading - its proletariat (6) - until then I thought that was the name of the crossword. As you say the letters already solved would have been helpful as well.
