I don't often get a problem with the Telegraph, but have 2
clues that cross each other and, with what I consider to be
feasible answers, cannot make them both fit.
6 Down; - "Motorway exit where tractors should go? (3-4)
I have OFF/---D and thought this would perhaps be
OFF-ROAD. (I don't know where the tractors come in).
13 Across;- "Note that one may leave quickly after hanky-panky (4-2) I have ---T/-T and thought this might be
BEAT IT (be at it), bit then this is not normally hyphenated and will probably be the one that's incorrect.
The 2nd. letter of the across clue has to be the same as the 5th. letter of the down clue.
